Why “Raven Song?” Raven is the subject of much conflicting lore and mythology. However, it is Raven’s ability to become attuned to the nature of animals and people and speak their language that I am invoking with this name. In one myth, it was Raven who stole Light from one who would keep the world in darkness and returned it to the world. This magic energizes my work: the ability to communicate clearly and bring understanding, light and love to people, animals, and human-animal relationships.
